IMI Critical Engineering has recently been awarded a large aftermarket project in central Brazil.
The $3,4m project for IMI InterAtiva and IMI Remosa includes a contract for the supply of spare parts for FCC (Fluidised Catalytic Converter) Special Valves and Hydraulic Actuation Systems ($2,5m) and a contract to supply field supervision and execution services for the repair work ($900k) at the FCC unit of a refinery located in central Brazil. This important contract completes our FCC Turn Around project for the refinery.
Daniele Cecchelli, Vice President of Business Development for IMI Critical Engineering Petrochem Americas commented: "We are all very pleased with this prestigious achievement. We have worked with this major customer for more than two and a half years with determination and perseverance, and this has paid off. Despite problems and delays caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the unexpected drop in fuel consumption throughout Brazil, and the simultaneous drop in the price of crude oil, our team successfully closed the order as the sole source provider."
