Ten new graduates, of four different nationalities, joined IMI Critical Engineering in September. All the graduates have degrees in mechanical engineering, with six also having completed Masters degrees.
The graduates will begin their two-year programme with a two-week training programme at IMI's Birmingham, UK, headquarters, alongside graduate trainees from other IMI divisions. Subsequently, they will embark on two, year-long placements within IMI Critical - the first within their home country, and the second in another part of IMI Critical.
Four graduates will join IMI Critical in Korea, three in Shanghai, two in the US and one in the Czech Republic. Each graduate will be supported by a senior mentor from within the business during their two year graduate training programme. "IMI Critical has a proud engineering heritage and, more importantly, ambitious plans for the future, so our graduates have a rewarding and exciting career ahead of them," said Roy Twite, Divisional MD.
